Statement of Faith
Holy Bible (Hebrews 4:12, John 1, Proverbs 30:5, Isaiah 40:8,1 Corinthians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16)
The Holy Bible is God's inspired word and a vital guide for faith and practice. It comprises the Old and New Testaments, revealing God's character, creation, and redemptive plan. I affirm its authority in all life aspects, offering wisdom, encouragement, and spiritual nourishment. Proper interpretation considers the historical context while encouraging personal application. The Bible teaches truths about God, humanity, and their relationship, calling for faith, repentance, and obedience. It invites a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ and is essential for spiritual growth, understanding, purpose, and fulfillment.
Creation (The book of Genesis)
I believe the biblical creation presented in the Book of Genesis; God as the sovereign Creator who intentionally brought the universe into existence. Creation was a deliberate act. Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them." This verse highlights the dignity of every person, created in God's likeness. It underscores the unique reflection of God's image in both male and female. God created the heavens and the earth in six days, demonstrating His power and artistry.
Jesus Christ (The 4 Gospels of the New Testament , Titus 2:13, Philippians 2:5-8, Hebrews 1:8 )
I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, sent to reveal God's love and exemplify righteousness. Born of the Virgin Mary, He was crucified under the rule of Pontius Pilate, died, buried, and rose on the third day, conquering sin and death. His sacrificial death and resurrection offer salvation to all who believe, providing reconciliation with God, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life. Acceptance of Jesus as Lord is key to a transformative relationship with God. I recognize the Holy Spirit's role in empowering believers to follow God's will and grow in faith. Community, prayer, and Scripture study are vital for understanding Jesus and His teachings. We are called to reflect Christ's love, serve others, and share His grace and mercy.
The Trinity (Isaiah 48:16, 1 John 5:7-8, John 3:21-24, Corinthians 13:3-6)
I believe in the Trinity: one God in three “persons”—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, co-equal, and co-eternal, sharing the same divine essence. The Father creates and sustains all, initiating the relationship with humanity. The Son, Jesus Christ, is both fully divine and fully human, redeeming humanity through His life, death, resurrection. The Holy Spirit guides and empowers believers. This belief highlights God's relational nature and the mystery of His unity in diversity, with each “person” playing a vital role in salvation and our relationship with Him.
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Matthew 24, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 2Thessalonians 2:8, Hebrews 9:28)
I believe in the Second Coming of Christ as a pivotal event marking the fulfillment of biblical prophecy and divine promise. This event is seen as a time when Jesus Christ will return to Earth in glory and majesty, bringing hope, renewal, and ultimate justice. The Second Coming signifies the culmination of God's plan for humanity, restoring creation and establishing God's kingdom. It reassures believers of God's ongoing presence and involvement in the world, emphasizing the importance of faith, preparation, and moral living in anticipation of this significant event.
Godly Discipleship (Matthew 5:14-16, John 8:31-32, John 13:34-35, John 15:1-8, Galatians 5:24, Romans 12:1-2)
Godly discipleship invites us to deepen our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It emphasizes following Scripture's teachings on love, compassion, and humility, fostering personal growth and a commitment to serving others. Promoting community engagement and mutual support, empowering us to explore our faith and understand God’s will. Prayer, study, and reflection is key to aligning our lives with Christ's example. Ultimately, Godly discipleship encourages lifelong growth, service, and authentic representation of God’s love, calling us to be instruments of peace and transformation in a world that desperately needs it.
The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20)
The Great Commission calls all believers to share the message of love, hope, and redemption regardless of geographical location or cultural practice. Jesus instructs all believers to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Inviting everyone to experience faith in Jesus Christ and His transformative power. I aim to reflect Christ's love through my actions and outreach, ensuring His message reaches those in need. Dedicated to spiritual growth, peace, and the well-being of others, I embrace the role of ambassador in our world.
Eternal Life (2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:10-15, John 5:24; John 3:16)
I believe in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. This belief, rooted in Scripture, teaches that faith in Him and His resurrection leads to a relationship with God beyond earthly existence.
I affirm that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Eternal life is a gift from God, offered to all who accept Jesus as Savior. This life starts now for believers and involves a transformative relationship with Christ that extends beyond death. I understand that this belief brings hope and purpose, assuring us that through Christ’s love and grace, we are granted a place in God’s eternal kingdom. My pursuit of spiritual growth serves to reinforce this truth and inspire others to seek the joy and peace found in eternal life through Jesus alone.
Core beliefs shape my spirituality and moral choices. My view on eternal punishment for non-believers stems from a Christian worldview that highlights faith in Jesus Christ as the ONLY way to eternal life. I believe that the teachings of the Bible affirm the existence of eternal consequences for one's relationship with God. Scriptures such as John 3:18 highlight that those who do not believe are already condemned, indicating a stark contrast between belief and unbelief. This belief in eternal punishment serves as a somber reminder of the consequences of turning away from divine grace.
My commitment is to uphold the message of Christ's love and salvation while acknowledging that choosing to reject this gift leads to separation from God. I seek to approach this topic with compassion and a focus on the hope and redemption available through faith, encouraging individuals to seek a personal relationship with Christ to avoid the eternal separation that unbelief entails. Ultimately, my prayer is for all to come to a deeper understanding and acceptance of God's love and the life-changing power of faith, which leads not to punishment, but to eternal life in His presence.
